The video combines filmed footage and 3D generated models of fulfillment-centers to make these structures grow. Their growth factor is based on past and current data on E-commerce revenue in Germany. This project looks at the architecture of conglomerate warehouse logistic facilities, as part of the so-called Landscape 4.0 expansion, where buildings are topologies without history. Additionally, their materiality and purpose are configured to anticipate logistics, growth, and instantaneous consumer demand. Physical Twin sculpts a speculative architecture to exaggerate upon the optimization and efficiency processes. Eventually the resulting structure represents the architectures ideal growth; but as a building, would be structurally impossible to construct.
