Maze

The camera moves through a maze mimicking the movement of electronic mapping devices while being accompanied by the self-referential grinding sound of the camera zoom. Maze experiments with the contrast between the supposed ease and lack of spatial attention, bodily spatial perception and mental mapping users of electronic mapping devices may have versus the heightened spatial awareness that impinges on the participant of a maze.
The videos are accompanied by a floor drawing based on the cameras movement through the maze.
