A candle and a robotic arm; both have the ability to cut through a thread in order to crash the attached glass balls. The robot gripper has been replaced with a pair of scissors. Its movement is carefully choreographed, preprogrammed, calculated and precise. The candle has the threads running through it so they can burn depending upon randomized factors such as the thickness of the candle wax, the distance of the strings, air currents, etc.
