Lessignbad Kiel
three-channel video projection, 6:09 min., 2011
In kacheln the camera speeds over the tiled floor of an empty swimming pool. It moves at different angles and perspectives making the tile pattern appear like a perspective grid, merging it into one dragging surface, as well as fragmenting it with a kaleidoscopic effect to create new spatial situations. The camera explores the swimming pool following the three tracks and the limiting lines that before determined the movement of the swimmers.
